Ladan Vakili, DMD
Started her education by receiving a bachelor of science in biochemstry from University of Maryland. She then went on to The University of Pennsylvania to receive her doctorate in dental medicine. She completed a post-doctoral general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and entered into private practice for a few years. Subsequently, Dr. Vakili went on to complete her post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry, at Maimonides Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.
After graduation Dr. Vakili entered into private practice in Manhattan and pursued an academic interest at the same time. During this time she served as:
- Division Chief of Pediatric Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital
- Associate Director of the pediatric dental post doctoral program at Maimonides Medical Center
Dr. Vakili is an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, ADA, CDA.
During her free time, Dr. Ladan enjoys running, diving, and traveling.
